In the wake of Baton Rouge Shooting Police Union urges Gov. Kasich to Suspend the Second Amendment saying “I don’t care if it’s constitutional or not at this point”

In the wake of the Baton Rouge police shooting that left three police dead, the Cleveland Police Union President Stephen Loomis has sent a letter to Gov. Kasich urging him to suspend the second amendment of the constitution in the city during the RNC convention. Commenting on the request, Loomis said the following to CNN:

 

“We are sending a letter to Gov. Kasich requesting assistance from him. He could very easily do some kind of executive order or something — I don’t care if it’s constitutional or not at this point”.

 

During the same interview Loomis also said Obama has “Blood on his hands”
