Top Democrat says FBI May be Violating Law for Investigating Hillary

October 31, 2016

Senate Minority Leader, Harry Reid, stated in a letter to FBI Director James Comey, that he might be violating the Hatch Act for reopening the investigation into Hillary Clinton's private server. The letter sent Oct 30 says the director is engaged in a "disturbing double standard." Reid also informed the director thats his office has determined "these actions may violate the Hatch Act." The Senator described the recent discovery of over 650,000 emails by the FBI as 'thin innuendo.' Harry Reid said the director was using a "highly selective approach to publicizing information."

Let me get this straight, when law enforcement investigates Democrats; law enforcement is engaged in "highly selective" activities. The FBI officials said they found over 650,000 emails on Former Congressmen Anthony Weiner's computer. They also stated that a significant amount of those emails were sent and received by Huma Abedin, a longtime top Hillary aide. I agree with the Senator, the actions taken by Comey have been highly unprecedented.

The fact that he chose not to recommend charges against Clinton in the first place is one of them. Personally, I believe the Director should have stepped down last summer. For the first time, Comey isn't engaged in a political theater. He was involved in partisanship when he decided not to send his findings to the AG. Harry Reid and his ilk will stop at nothing to push this woman over the line. It was the same story with Mitt Romney when Reid lied about him not paying his taxes, he later admitted it was lie. It is a fact that Hillary Clinton is the only presidential candidate in recent history to be under federal investigation two times during there campaign for the highest office. This is her own doing.
